Hawaii is one of the most popular travel destinations in the world due to its mild climate and its beautiful landscape. Here you will find lonely beaches, bays to go snorkeling and diving, hidden waterfalls, tropical rainforests, rare plants, volcanos and much more. Hawaii consists of 132 small islands, and each one is unique. The third biggest and the most well known of the islands is the island of Oahu with the very famous Waikiki Beach and the capital city of Honolulu.
Honolulu has a very modern business quarter, beautiful promenades, a military base and many state offices. Pearl Habour, the most famous harbour in the world, also belongs to Honolulu.
In the north of Oahus is the world famous surfing destination Sunset Beach and Waimea Bay. The volcano Diamond Head (over 100 000 years old), is also very popular for visitors, as is Hanauma Bay and Sea Life ( a big park).
